It looks like Warner Bros. is looking to get a piece of the burgeoning mobile and social gaming market for itself with word that the media giant’s Montreal studio is shifting its focus from AAA development to more bite-sized titles (via IndustryGamers).

“Before, we perceived the market as a secondary market, but today is a growing market with the democratization of video games,” studio head Martin Carrier told Lapressaffaires. “Commercially, we believe we can sell more than games on a grand scale.”

The studio will utilize the micro-transaction model, and an MMO designed for “younger audiences” has been announced as well.
