In Mimi the Cat: Mimi’s Scratcher, players accompany Mimi in her journey to reach her favorite scratching post. The game is a puzzle-based adventure in which players must stack boxes and navigate several platforms to help Mimi achieve her goal. As players go through the game, they will face a variety of challenges and obstacles, such as challenging jumps, hard boxes, and intricate box-stacking puzzles.
The cute protagonist, Mimi, and the joyful environment are guaranteed to appeal to cat lovers. Mimi’s Scratcher is a fun and approachable puzzle experience. Stacking boxes and navigating platforms is simple, making it an ideal pick-up and play game for casual players and families. While the main mechanics are simple to understand, the game gradually introduces more challenging puzzles, keeping things intriguing for puzzle lovers.
However, the core mechanic of stacking boxes might get monotonous after a while, particularly for players seeking a more diverse experience. It should also be noted that the game is on the short side, and seasoned puzzle enthusiasts may find it too easy. So, once you’ve completed the puzzles, there’s not much reason to return to the game.
I’ll admit that I was impressed by how good the game looked on Nintendo Switch Lite. The controls were excellent, and I am able to say that Mimi the Cat: Mimi’s Scratcher is still a fantastic puzzle game to have in your library if you appreciate puzzles. Overall, Mimi the Cat: Mimi’s Scratcher is a lovely and approachable puzzle game ideal for casual gamers and cat enthusiasts. However, the repetitious gameplay and too little depth may leave seasoned puzzle gamers wanting more.
