“Inception” has gripped the moviegoing public in recent days, and why not? It looks great, treats a classic plot device in a not-often-seen way, and has a story that keeps people talking. Of course, videogames have also taken that science fiction concept of traveling inside one’s subconscious imagination. Sometimes in a refreshing way, sometimes in a bog-standard cornball way, but mostly in balls-out trippy ways.
