Lunistice is a 3D platformer made with a lovely PS1/SEGA Saturn-inspired art style and simple, enjoyable gameplay in mind. Play Hana the Tanuki and leap and struggle through her fantasies!

It has been quite some time since I played an old-school-based 3D Platformer and let me tell you that Lunistice does not disappoint. I was initially drawn into the graphics of the game, as I grew up in the time of the Sega Saturn and PlayStation One era, and let me say that Lunsitice really made me feel like a kid a

I haven’t played an old-school-based 3D Platformer in quite some time, but Lunistice does not let me down. As someone who grew up during the Sega Saturn and PlayStation One eras, I was initially taken in by the game’s aesthetics, and let me just say that Lunsitice truly brought back my childhood nostalgia.

You take on the role of Hana in Lunistice, a fox girl who seems to be the only one who can successfully navigate a computer program. You have to collect paper cranes to get through the level in the game.
According to what I understand, this game has seven sections, each with what appears to be two levels.

The game can come off as a little too simple at times, but I do believe that speedrunners were considered when it was being designed because I can picture someone speedrunning it. You can still enjoy the game even if you’re not a speed runner, though. At times during the game, I found myself becoming confused, but that’s what I found entertaining. experiencing those times when you become overconfident and believe the level is won.

In terms of the game’s controls, they were really quite excellent. There was a minor camera problem for me, but because this game is centered on the PS1/SEGA Saturn era, I expected there to be issues with that, so overall, I was pleased. If you’re looking for a game that will bring you back to your youth and is reasonably priced, I definitely recommend Lunistice because of the graphics.

If you would like to play Lunistice for yourself, you can do so on PC via Steam or Nintendo Switch via Nintendo eShop for $4.99 USD.
