Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards was one of those titles that seemed to be synonymous with the 80′s. So in this day and age when so many entertainment choices from the past are recycled using a fresh layer of technology, it is no surprise to see Larry Laffer, the title’s main character, show up once again in a game designed for the latest devices. Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded was released to the Google Play Store today and at least initially, is free for players to download and give it a try. Developer Replay Games indicates they are offering it free with an in-app purchase option so users can verify the title will work on their hardware. Apparently, there are quite a few problems out there.

Replay Games says everything has been updated except for the plot line.  That includes new high-res graphics, a new musical score, new backgrounds, characters, and 2D animation. Replay Games managed to recruit the original game’s creator Al Lowe, and Sierra veteran Josh Mandel to help with all new lines, gags, and dialogue.
