In a week that seems to be full of leaked images, the latest batch to be discovered steps things up a notch as several images and even a video surface showing the forthcoming LG Optimus G2. The images show a device apparently heading to the Sprint network based on the information shown in the settings screen and not because of any logos on the exterior of the device.
The images and the video confirm once again the rocker switch for volume control being on the back of the device just below the camera lens. The thin bezel and lack of capacitive buttons give the screen a near bezel-less appearance.
According to sources, the Optimus G2 will come with a Snapdragon 800 processor clocking in at 2.3GHz. It is still not clear whether the device will come with 2GB of RAM or whether it will be bumped up to 3GB of RAM.
Check out the images and video below to see more of the details for LG’s forthcoming smartphone. Once revealed at their August 7th event, do you think the LG Optimus G2 will be mentioned in the same breath with the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and the HTC One?
