At the Korean gaming trade show G-Star this past weekend, local publisher Blueside announced (via Game Watch) that Kingdom Under Fire II would be coming to the PlayStation 3. In doing so, the company also cast doubt on the release of an Xbox 360 version of the game, despite the RTS series’ lineage on the original Xbox.
Originally announced over two years ago, Kingdom Under Fire II is an “action RTS” that includes an MMO mode for thousands of players to share the same battlefield. It has always been slated for both PC and consoles, but the move to PS3 was an unexpected one. Game Watch is even calling it “the first Korean-born PS3 game.”
