Oprah is once again feeling generous; but instead of free cars, her audience received an Xbox 360 and a Kinect sensor.
The show’s theme was “The Next Big Thing,” which included Microsoft’s motion controller. As “promotional consideration and partial production funding” was offered by Microsoft’s Xbox 360 department, it would seem that the peripheral’s multi-million dollar ad campaign is getting started in earnest.
Oprah’s audience certainly seem excited about the product. And based on the Kinect’s target demographics, a room full of screaming middle-aged women on Oprah must be music to Microsoft’s ears.
