Hotline Miami 2 and Rogue Legacy, among others, will make their console debut on Sony platforms.

Neon-hued tactical blaster Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and procedural genealogical adventure Rogue Legacy will both make their console debut first on the PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2014, Sony has announced.

Sony’s Shahid Ahmad delivered the news during the company’s Gamescom 2013 press conference, along with many other signings that will see a suite of indie games grace Sony platforms ahead of Microsoft’s.

Edmund McMillen’s roguelike The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, and Super Crate Box developer Vlambeer’s top-down shooter Wasteland Kings will also make their console exclusive debut on PlayStation 4 and Vita.

Mike Bithell’s recently announced Volume will also make its console debut on PS4.

Alongside that, the console versions of Guns of Icarus Online and N++ will also be coming to the PlayStation 4.

Earlier today, Microsoft outlined full details of its own self-publishing scheme designed to tempt indie developers to the Xbox One.
