In celebration of the Chinese New Year, game developer ArenaNet announced that its highly anticipated MMO would launch sometime later this year. Although no firm date was announced, ArenaNet did lay out its plans for the coming year. Having just finished up their closed beta testing, they announced that in February they will invite select members of the press to beta test the game. Then in March and April they will begin to increase the amount of beta players, by inviting some of their fans to participate! As with the previous Guild Wars title, ArenaNet will not be charging a monthly fee. We will update you as more information becomes available!
