Google Drive’s Spreadsheets were pretty good for something simple, but forget it if you wanted to do some serious analyzing. Google is looking to change that by re-introducing them under the Google Sheets name. It’s not just a new name as Google promises that it’s faster, can handle larger spreadsheets, and can be used offline.
They also added a couple of new features, including filter views, function help, and flowing text into empty cells. Filter views is unique to Google, and allows you to save and share different views of your data without actually changing what others see.
