We really can’t thank GOG enough for taking mercy on our free time this week by not releasing another 100+ hour classic fantasy RPG. Rather, this week’s new offering is Space Rangers, which sounds like just another Gears of War-esque, over-the-top shooter! That should be pretty light, but let’s just check the game’s description to be sure: “A space tactical role-playing game the plot of which is set is an enormous, living and spontaneous world.” Yes. Well. Hm.
Space Rangers can be yours for $9.99 — not that you have that kind of money, as between the availability of Icewind Dale 2, Neverwinter Nights Diamond and Planescape: Torment, you have almost certainly lost your job.
