Godstrike is a twin stick bullet hell shooter, in which you play as Talaal the last herald, who is going on an adventure to put an end to the corruption. As Talaal you will go through a series 1 on 1 matches with different Bosses and try to defeat them.

Before I go further into my Review of Godstrike I would like to say that Godstrike was provided to thedailygamepad.net for free by the developers/publishers of the game. I would like to thank the developers/publishers on behalf of thedailygamepad.net for providing a free copy of the game to play for the video and for this review.

As stated before, Godstrike is a twin stick bullet hell that puts you in the shows of Talaal the last herald, who is on a adventure to stop A herald that had been buried under ground who some how managed to corrupted all of the lands from underground. In the game you take a multitude of bosses in a 1 on 1 combat style.

When I had the luxury of playing the Godstrike demo back in February for the Steam Game Festival, and instantly fell in love with the game, and was happy to play the game and give it a review now that the full version of the game was available. In the video above, I decided to play the story mode, as when I first played the demo there was no story mode. So it was good to see what Talaal’s story is. In addition to Story Mode, there is Arena Mode which allows for you to just have fun with the game as it gives you free rein of all the abilities in Talaal’s arsenal, Daily Challenge Mode allows for you to play against a boss with a certain set of powers and stipulations and can only be done once a day, and Challenge Mode allows you to do a run of different challenges much similar to that of the Daily Challenge Mode.

In terms of controls, the game uses both keyboard and mouse, as well as controller. I played the game with the control and the controls moved pretty smooth. The only issues I had was my thumb began to cramp and sometimes the aiming is a little off, but other than that the controls at least with a controller handle pretty well.

The game is a lot of fun and is a game you can get lost in for hours. Especially, if you enjoy challenging bullet hell-type games. Then I highly recommend adding Godstrike to your library and you can do this via Steam or Nintendo Switch for 14.99 USD.

She has been gaming for 30+ years; and feels that a lot of indie games go back to the games that she grew up with and aren't afraid to think outside of the box to make a game. It is because of this thought process that she prefers to play a majority of indie titles, but still likes to play Triple-A titles and Retro games too. She enjoys searching through itch.io platform and looking for games that are stream friendly, and then playing them on stream to get them the exposure they may not be getting. Some of her favorite game genres include Platformers, Puzzlers, Role-Playing and she's recently developed a loved for Shmups.
