Gearbox Publishing announces Eyes in the Dark: A Curious Case of One Victoria Bloom and Relic Hunters Legend
FRISCO, Texas (April 22, 2022) – The Gearbox Entertainment Company teased an all-new Tales from the Borderlands adventure releasing this year, published by 2K and developed in-house by Gearbox Software. Additionally, Gearbox Publishing announced two new titles – Eyes in the Dark: The Curious Case of One Victoria Bloom developed by Under the Stairs and Relic Hunters Legend developed by Rogue Snail – along with opening pre-orders for the Homeworld 3 Collector’s Edition.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Statistics
Almost 30% of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands players are new to the Borderlands franchise so it’s no wonder Wonderlands is a runaway success. Some of the development team’s favorite stats since launch:
- In total, 6.8 billion guns, spells, and weapons have been looted;
- Players have killed nearly 4.5 billion skeletons – assuming an average height of 5’6, that’s enough bones to reach to the moon and back ten times! Players have also crushed 2.3 billion crabs, wasted 2.2 billion wyverns, and sent 275 million Sea Wargs to a not-so-watery grave;
- Casting and slashing were two of the big combat evolutions in Wonderlands. Players have made 2.6 billion spell kills, along with 2.4 billion melee kills and 2 billion ground slams; and,
- Wonderlands players cleared more than a billion dungeons and 2 billion encounters (and at the same time, also discovered 2 billion mimics).
Borderlands Update and SHiFT Keys
Cross-play with PlayStation will be added to Borderlands 3 later this spring, so anyone who purchased the title can soon take advantage of the new feature. Pitchford teased an all-new Tales from the Borderlands adventure, developed in-house by Gearbox Software and published by 2K, that will release this year. More details on the upcoming title will be shared later this summer.

Eyes in the Dark: A Curious Case of One Victoria Bloom
Unveiled by Steve Gibson, president of Gearbox Publishing, Eyes in the Dark: The Curious Case of Victoria Bloom is the first game from Croatian studio Under the Stairs. Available now for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Store, Eyes in the Dark willlaunch worldwide on July 14 for $14.99 USD. As a bonus, anyone who pre-orders Eyes in the Dark will receive a free copy of the game’s soundtrack at launch.

Relic Hunter Legends
Gibson also announced Relic Hunters Legend, the next free-to-play top-down shooter from Rogue Snail, a popular Brazilian studio founded in September of 2014.

Homeworld 3 Collector’s Edition
Supporters of the award-winning Homeworld franchise were delighted by the announcement of Homeworld 3 Collector’s Edition, which is available now for pre-order. The Collector’s Edition includes both physical and digital goods in addition to the base game and Year One Pass. The played-inspired minds at Idea Planet helped created the Collector’s Edition.

Written by Rick Barba, the book’s content will span the entire Borderlands franchise to-date. Additionally, the two companies are creating a Borderlands comic series, written by Amy Chu.
