Over the past couple months we have seen some indications that LG is getting ready to get back into the tablet market with a device known as the LG G Pad. They are one step closer to making that happen in the U.S. market based on a record discovered in the FCC database for the LG-V500 which appears to be a WiFi only model of the new tablet. According to reports, LG is also working on a tablet with the model number LG-V507L which many think will be an LTE capable version of the device.
The LG G Pad is expected to be an 8.3-inch tablet with a screen running at 1920×1200 resolution, a Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. In addition to being slim in size, the tablet is also expected to have thin bezels. We will keep an eye out for leaked images and hope this new device makes an appearance at IFA 2013 in Berlin next month.
