I won’t lie man, when I was first handed this game I had no idea what I signed up for. How can you make farming fun? It’s not exactly a type of game I would see myself playing. Corn, Wheat, all that kind of stuff….I was not looking forward to it to say the least.

Then I played the game. I found my own niche in the game. Did I ever really farm? Not really. I ended up turning this into a sandbox type game where I was flipping over tractors and landing on house roofs with a lawnmower. Is this how farming is really done? If so, SIGN ME UP.

First things first: this game is not for everyone. If you are into a story, any kind of plot, you better look away. This has none of that. Sure, you have a farm to simulate…but thats about as deep as this one gets folks. However, if you have an open imagination and can make stuff fun, you will have a blast with this with some friends.

I played this game while drinking with some friends, and we had a blast. Some of the stuff we did, you would never see in a real farm. I’ve never drove a huge tractor over a hill at full speed before, but I think its safer to do it here, thats for sure.

Okay, but onto the game itself. Let’s do this in order shall we? Graphically, the game looks okay. It’s not high budget like big name titles, so  do not expect anything over the top, but the visuals are okay for todays age. You can tell the difference between the different vehicles and crops, so thats enough for me.

Sound wise, this was okay as well. You can tell they used the engine noises from real farm equipment, and that gets a nod from me. However, I don’t think driving a tractor onto a roof of a house would make no noise at all….or even land on the house in the first place. Oh well, still not bad in the sound department.

I’ve sat and tried to come up with words for this review for a while now, and the best way I can sum up this review is by saying if you like just randomless fun, this game is worth a look. It’s not that expensive, and hours of fun can be had if you have the patience to deal with things that just…would never happen otherwise.

Overall, this is a hard game to score. It’s a simulator. It does its job. Quite well. Makes me not want to work in a farm. However, on party nights, this would be a good choice for some good old fashioned fun.

Score: 7/10
