Warner Bros. today released a new E3 gameplay trailer for Dying Light, the upcoming console and PC open-world zombie game from Dead Island studio Techland. The trailer shows off the game’s parkour and gruesome melee mechanics, as well as its day/night cycle. In short, you don’t want to go out at night.

The video also suggests that the character you play isn’t on-board with all the zombie-killing from the onset. “I’m not a murderer,” the character says. Another, more sinister-sounding character, replies, “Of course you are, my friend. In the right circumstances, anyone is.”

Dying Light was originally expected to launch in 2014 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. However, Techland last month announced a delay to 2015 so that the studio could improve the game’s parkour elements, among other things.

Though Techland won’t launch Dying Light until 2015, the studio plans to release a Steam Early Access version of its hack-and-slash dungeon-crawler Hellraid this year, before a full release across PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in 2015.
