Every once in a while you combine two genres of games and something happens that works. And does not so much work out. In this case. You get something that combines Action/Adventure & Tower Defense into one. Then you are left with Dwerve. Developed by
Half Human Games. From the start to where I left off in the game you are introduced to one core thing about the game. It is fair, but also to those who are not very familiar, or good at Tower Defense games: Hard. I myself am a veteran to this sort of genre. This should not scare you from playing or even trying the game. It has been given to us here on the site on behalf of journalistic purposes. For that, we thank Half Human Games & Electronic Sheep Games
!

Entering the game was blooming with really solid story elements, as well as a pretty nice visual presentation. You are as the title suggests Dwerve; A tiny Dwarven youth Tinkerer who is introduced into a world where Dwarven kind lost their ways of digging deep into mountains and hoarding out gems of power. This all sizes up the plot down well. Keeping to the pace of the game’s core gameplay, which is every other area is a tower defense mode. There are not really any lanes. Think of the Legend of Zelda, but your only way to defend besides a boomerang is Turrets. Pretty hectic sounding, right?

To say this much for the game’s overall appeal. When streaming it I did not want to stop playing the game and wanted to push to the end. I loved the pace, the game felt like a love letter for TD fans out there who also love Zelda. Check out the video below for a more in-depth look at the game!
