The DIRECTV app for Android has steadily been improving, and today’s update brings the most requested feature. Remote control functionality has been added, meaning users can now you can directly control your home receiver and DVR playlist directly from your mobile device, provided you are in the same WiFi network. Tap to tune in to any show on your TV from your phone.
View, playback, and delete items from your Playlist. Control & playlist requires you to be on the same Wi-Fi network as your DVR.
