Del Rey recently announced that sometime in the Summer of 2012 they would be releasing their second Hitman novel. Titled Hitman: Damnation, the book will take place between the last Hitman game and the upcoming one. In the book, Agent 47 is tasked with assassinating high level American political figures. However, not everything about his mission seems to add up and he is plunged into a web of lies.
It is also interesting to note that the author of this book is Raymond Benson. He is not only famous for being an official writer of the James Bond books but, has also released novelizations of other games such as Metal Gear Solid, Homefront, and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.
