Online multiplayer sessions in Dead Nation are about to get a lot more chatty. Its developers at Housemarque, also responsible for Super Stardust HD, announced an upcoming patch that will add voice chat to the PlayStation Network game.
“We know some of you are frustrated by the lack of voice chat support in Dead Nation’s online co-op mode,” reads a post by the dev team on the official PlayStation blog. “We realize many players have been very eager to join up and start taking care of the zombie nation and we greatly appreciate the continued support. Therefore, the team is currently working on the addition of voice chat capability and hope to introduce it as quickly as possible.”
Housemarque hasn’t nailed down a release date for the update just yet, so you may want to hold off a bit before you invest too much time into the multiplayer.
