A couple of days ago I talked about the Hitman novel that would be coming out in the summer. Well, it turns out that Del Rey will also be releasing a novel for the Darksiders franchise. The novel will be titled Darksiders: The Abomination Vault, and will be released in May 2012. The author of the book is Ari Marmell, and is most famous for his books The Goblin Corps, The Conqueror’s Shadow, and The warlord’s Legacy. Also, he has written extensively for the role-playing industry, such as novels set in the Magic: The Gathering universe.
The book will take place before the first game, and deals with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, uncovering a plot to resurrect ancient weapons of unimaginable power. Death, alongside with War, must track down those behind the scheme and neutralize them before the universe is plunged into a devastating conflict.
What more could you ask for with that type of story?!
