I was playing some MW3. Funny thing happened. First I played with your run of a mill dropped off at my console kids who need to be babysit. Of Course I am grateful I can not find my headset at this point. The whole argument of “my kid is a angel, he serves buttercups rubbed across his nose he can not do no wrong.” So they allow the kid to play a game thinking “well there not showing me any signs of cussing or being a prick, let them on!” Of course adults have this visual Chasity belt on there kids thumbs thinking this will project a sense of good parenting. “Well Lil Jimmy, you behave yourself, I have to go work my 9 to 5 job at the strip joint!” Of course this is out of character and pretty much inaccurate of any parent trying to scrape by. Well if the parents have the legs for it. Work it mister! Anyway, back to the overly complex story of the kid I just encountered. So Everyone knows me, in games, I am vocal, Very complex and have HUGE OCD. Better words, a pain in the ass to the ears. However when respect is given to me in a game I am very polite to them.Hell in real life, I give most strangers a polite presentation of my well being and willingly hopeful of one back.
But the mouth I heard of the little hell sperm drop made any of the words I ever created look like childs’ play. At first in the match, the kid is silent. After awhile he starts to get his ass rocked quicker then a quarter bull @ one of those cheesy bars. So he begins to blame all around him. Including his teammates. (as someone tries to point at me and say I do the same thing. Here is a correction, if you suck while playing with me and I know you, I wont say a word about it. I will just enjoy the time spent with that person none the less.If your not good at a game, what can I do about it sprinkle magic win dust?) So the kid tries to point at me, with his Gusta in overdrive.
So tackling for my semi broken mic I pop on. Schooling him in the terms of Team. Then he proceeded to call me a f*g. As I and the whole team, who all followed in with there mics. Began to ask how old the kid is. He answer ” I am 8, bitch!” Within a instant, the can of worms opened. From that point I began to chew the kid out without dispensing a single cuss word within my sentences. Within 1 minute he left with him crying on the mic. So do I care I made a young minded child leave a Mature rated game? Hell no, I resolved a issue that many people forget to realize. It does not matter how well mannered your kid prob is to you. There perhaps monsters to everyone else. You just do not realize it, yet. From Consoles to PCs, kids are there, making mature adults go bat shit insane. We are not your kids baby sitters. So ether put them in a real daycare and quit pushing off your annoyances on us. “Your just sore you lost to a young child, Grow up!” Grow up in a Mature rated video game? What are we playing, shakespires romeo and Juliet where we need to act like civilized adults? Hell no lady, were here to unwind, talk trash and have fun. The fun your looking to keep your kid busy is at a play ground, or perhaps in the care of better parents who understand that everyone else is doing it, sales wise does not mean your kids whiny antics on why he needs this game because all his other friends have it. Guess what, the secret is his other friends did not have it til there dad got it, so he can lock his door away from his own “hell sperm”. Hell I consider it bad parenting to ignore that rating label in the first place. All this relating back to my experience with a minor? Exactly.
The next point someone will try to toss at me like a fireball. “Maybe you should stop playing games then if you can not handle the little brats.” No I should not have too, if parents payed more attention to what there kids play. Not my problem there kids bored. If your kids want to play these games so badly, hold off the pressure, and grow a set. Tell them NO. If you discover them playing the game at a friends house disband them from playing it there. So many ways that rules and ratings can have a meaning. When my kids point out these games to me. Oh boy will I make it my goal to prevent them from wanting to play those games. If they throw a fit, Bootcamp. They can learn how tough it is to be in those “virtual soldiers shoes.” Give me fifty, kid.
Have any of you had this issue with a minor being disrespectful to you in a game out of no where?
