Sega has announced a Limited Edition for Conduit 2, exclusive to GameStop stores. Extras include a 44-page art book with concept art and designs, the “Eye of Ra” device to find hidden items twice as fast, and a “Gold Destroyer Armor” multiplayer skin. The limited edition will release alongside the regular game in February 2011.
The extra goodies may seem sparse compared to some limited editions, but this one won’t cost any extra. According to the GameStop listing, the limited edition will cost the standard $49.99. So essentially, picking it up at GameStop means bonus items for free. The first game received modest praise, but Sega is hoping to improve the reception for the sequel.
