Quip has been one of the best word processing apps for iPhone, and now it’s making its way to Android. Quip is an alternative to Google Docs, QuickOffice, and Evernote, but puts its focus on collaboration. Designed by former Facebook CTO Bret Taylor, Quip allows multiple users to edit a single document and track changes very easily. Conversations can be had directly through the app, both private and public depending kind of chat thread is needed.
The Android app differs from the iOS version in that it allows users to sign in directly with their Google account, and it uses stacked, expandable notifications. You can download now through the Play Store link after the break.
