Circadian City is a very interesting sim game, and as a fan of sim games, I was excited that the developers had reached out to thedailygamepad.net to provide a review for the game. So therefore before I begin my review I would like to thank the developers and publishers for providing us here at thedailygamepad.net with a free copy of the game to play for review.

In Circadian City you create a character who has accepted a Job in Circadian City. During the day you work, make friends and try to make it in the big city after coming from humble beginnings. Besides living and working in the city to make friends and provide for yourself, you are also transported into a dream world.

In this dream world, you are approached by Rob Rob a toy from your childhood that tells you, you must help to bridge the memories in your dreams and take care of the scatter emotions and dreams you had. I thought that the graphics were pretty good. As far as controls go you can use a controller or keyboard. I would have liked for them to incorporate the mouse into the game as well, as I enjoy playing sim games with the mouse.

Another thing when I played this before they had other and I didn’t understand why they had other as an option. After playing more of it , I now see that you can technically created all types of humanoids so therefore the other category works. The game is still in Early Access and I am looking forward to see what they do with the game.

If you would like to play Circadian City for yourself you can do so on PC or macOS via Steam for $11.99 USD, although it should be noted that the game is on sale for $9.79 USD until October 8, 2020.

She has been gaming for 30+ years; and feels that a lot of indie games go back to the games that she grew up with and aren't afraid to think outside of the box to make a game. It is because of this thought process that she prefers to play a majority of indie titles, but still likes to play Triple-A titles and Retro games too. She enjoys searching through itch.io platform and looking for games that are stream friendly, and then playing them on stream to get them the exposure they may not be getting. Some of her favorite game genres include Platformers, Puzzlers, Role-Playing and she's recently developed a loved for Shmups.
