He may have starred in a really bad videogame movie before, but that hasn’t caused Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to rule out the possibility of starring in another movie based on a videogame — provided the script is right.

“I think if the right one came along,” he told MTV when asked if he would be opposed to a videogame film. “I thought we had an opportunity with Doom. Didn’t work out the way we wanted it to, creatively. But yeah, if the right opportunity came along and the script is good, sure.”

The Rock starred in the 2005 big-screen take on Doom, along with Karl Urban. As one can guess without having actually seen it, it wasn’t particularly good. It did, however, mark one of his first starring roles in a film following The Scorpion King in 2002 and Walking Tall in 2004.
