Ahead of next week’s launch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare‘s first expansion, Havoc, retailer GameStop has announced a promotion aimed at getting you to buy from them instead of elsewhere.
Everyone who buys the $15 Havoc expansion at GameStop, and those who have already purchased the game’s $50 DLC pass, will receive the pretty excellent-looking poster above for free.
Posters will be given out while supplies last, and GameStop is the only retailer offering the freebie.
Buying digital content from a physical retailer might sound a little backwards, but GameStop has made it into a major business area. In fact, for the nine-week holiday 2014 period, GameStop digital sales rose by more than 40 percent to $296.6 million.
Havoc is Advanced Warfare’s first expansion, following the game’s release in November 2014. The add-on features new multiplayer maps and weapons, along with a brand new zombies mode that stars celebrities John Malkovich and Jon Bernthal.
The Havoc expansion launches January 27 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and is scheduled to hit PlayStation consoles and PC sometime later. Advanced Warfare was the top-selling game in the US for all of 2014, according to the NPD Group.
