It’s no secret that Halo Reach is pretty much Bungie saying, “seeya!” to the Halo franchise, and so with this final title, the studio is aiming to sign off with class with what is easily the biggest Halo title from the studio to date. Community director Brian Jarrard quips that he’s not entirely sure if any other game on the market has as much content as Halo Reach — there’s the campaign, then the multiplayer (and all its crazy variants), the greatly expanded Forge World, and the improved Firefight mode.
For that latter item, during Gamescom 2010, Bungie premiered a new Firefight map called, “Corvette,” which takes place inside a Covenant hangar. It’s perhaps the smallest and tightest Firefight fight in Reach’s arsenal, and the action gets pretty intense as Covenant Spirits keep on docking in the hangar to drop off more bad guys. If you want to see what happens when a not-very-good Halo player is dropped right into a Firefight match on Corvette, check out the below video.
