There is no disputing that Blizzard is and always has been a PC-focused developer. It has brought the odd game (StarCraft 64, Warcraft II) to consoles before, but fans are often skeptical whenever the subject of a Blizzard game appearing on consoles comes up. That includes Diablo III, a game that is — officially — only headed to PC and Mac but also one Blizzard continues to talk about as potentially coming to consoles.
Speaking with Game Informer (as reported by VG247), lead designer Jay Wilson talked about how much emphasis is being put on console development, as well as how Blizzard is trying to create a console version of the game as opposed to simply porting it.
