Although Lenovo has put some together some impressive flagship devices, they’ve never had much luck with them in the US. That may change with the newest device they’re readying to launch, which according to some newly leaked benchmarks, will run the latest version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor.
The new device, codenamed the X910, scored 29231 points on an AnTuTu benchmark with a processor running at about 2.1 – 2.2 GHz, which is about what we see from Snapdragon 800 devices. It’s also running Android 4.2.2, but there’s not much else in the way of details outside of that, unfortunately. Still, maybe going with a more well-known processor like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon line can help them get more western penetration than Intel’s great, but quiet, Clover Trail processors did.
