In this game play review from thedailygamepad.com, TripG87 (GeekyGamerGirl87) plays and gives her thoughts and opinions on Bard’s Gold Nintendo Switch Edition.
In my video review I kept saying that the game did not have a story line. However, I found out the story line is in the trailer and therefore have included the trailer as well. The trailer can be found at the bottom of the page.

Game Modes
Game Mode | Descriptions |
Normal | Seems to be the games easy mode. It allows for you to pick levels. You also start off with 4 lives and you get checkpoints. However you have one hit kills. |
Retro | Just as the name implies, it offers you a harder challenge. Gives you more of a game from the past feeling. This mode offers 2 lives, checkpoints, and ability to pick your levels. It also offers the one hit kills. |
Rogue-Like | In this mode the levels are randomized, and it does not allow for you to choose levels. You get one life but can be hit up to three times. Also there is no checkpoints. So Once it’s game over, you start from the beginning. |
