Today on the US Playstation Vita page, the pricing for 3G has been changed. For 250 MB over a month’s time (thirty days), you’ll pay fifteen dollars. If you want to get twelve times that amount (three gigabytes), you’ll be paying thirty dollars. The question with this is, where are all the extra costs?
Originally, AT&T was going to do a 2GB service instead of 3GB. It would have cost $25 instead of $30 for the 3GB service. This seems a little out of character for AT&T to be so generous with the pricing. Maybe a month after the PS Vita’s international release, we’ll hear more about what these wireless Internet connections actually entail.
