DALLAS – Dec. 4, 2024 – Wizordum, the retro first-person spellcaster developed by Emberheart Games and published by Apogee Entertainment, conjures a 1.0 launch date for PC via Steam on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, as announced today at the OTK Games Expo.
Wizordum has been in Early Access, currently with its first two episodes. Finally, Episode 3 completes the game and takes the last surviving mage of Wizordum on a supernatural chase into the most dangerous levels yet. Wage all-out war against the evil keepers of Chaos. Seven vast new levels with three new weapons await players.

It’s a rare mix that takes me back to when we released Wolfenstein 3D to the world, and for us making a magical game that looks like it’s from that era had enormous appeal. I’ve been happily playtesting it nonstop!”
Episode 3 adds many cool areas, including both fire and ice levels, with lava flows and chillingly deadly icicles. Hitch a ride on a minecart that will insta-splat any enemy in its path.
New weapons include the Faewood Crossbow, shooting path-clearing magical bolts, and the Staff of Chaos, a weapon that dispenses chaotic, untamed fire, ice and storm attacks that can’t be controlled, so just aim in the right direction and let the destruction happen!
Wizordum is a game full of secret areas and easter eggs like all Apogee games going back to the 90’s. Even a Dopefish awaits to be found–a creature that first appeared in Commander Keen.
Also, locate Lore Scrolls dispersed throughout the realm that tell of Terrabruma’s peculiar past, and enjoy quality-of-life upgrades to previous episodes. Design speedrun-friendly challenges, full-length episodes, and everything in between with the in-game level editor.
