Red Dead Redemption won plenty of awards last year, including many Game of the Years — 1UP named it best action/adventure game, best expansion (for Undead Nightmare), and Game of the Year. A full year and a half after it was first released, Rockstar will finally bring out a Game of the Year edition that’s packed with content.
In addition to the game itself, the package comes with every bit of DLC that’s been released. That includes all of the big releases like Undead Nightmare right down to to the brand-new Myths and Mavericks bonus pack (available to RDR players now). It also contains the pre-order goodies you may have missed out on from before the game was released in May 2010.
You can count on getting one new thing: the hardcore single-player difficulty. Beyond that, those who have already invested a good deal of money in the game and its DLC won’t find much here, with the exception of 360 players getting the Solomon’s Folly gang hideout and challenges for the first time.
