F5’ing into your platform of choice, AEW’s first wrestling game with the pairing with the iconic Wrestling game developer Yuke’s. Their first being New Japan Pro-Wrestling: Toukon Retsuden as the staple for their wrestling gaming legacy. The majority of their line up/ All Elite Wrestling, or simply smoother to say AEW is the new kid on the block. Trying new things, as well as sticking to a certain format. Which works for them to a point. Other then that they bounce around talent like crazy. You get a often mixing pot of some you might like one week, then disappear the next. However with this game, you can maybe play them all! Or make them all to last forever within a virtual world. The game itself offers what you might expect from a wrestling game. With a large roster, with all perks and advantages. Or just a really solid punch and kick simulator. Whatever you want really. However for the experience I had on both PC & Switch. Are very surprisingly pleasant results!
Controls
Feel classic, as in precise, very entry friendly. I feel the N64 era(better then anything WWE2k ever produced via to being enjoyable. Sorry not sorry. Jakk’s has always been the better wrestling game producer. The controls feel that way. Comfortable, easy to do any move you programmed to your custom wrestler. Or your favorite wrestler.
