The entire Civilization strategy series from Firaxis Games has now reached 31 million copies shipped.
Parent publisher Take-Two Interactive announced the new shipment milestone today during a post-earnings financial call.
It’s up substantially from the 21 million franchise figure announced in April 2014.
The most recent Civilization game is last year’s Civilization: Beyond Earth. The game’s first expansion, Rising Tide, will launch in October, introducing aquatic gameplay and more.

Take-Two also announced today that Grand Theft Auto V alone has now shipped 54 million copies worldwide.
