If you’ve been waiting to play some classic Kirby games through the Wii U eShop, soon you’ll get your chance. Nintendo announced that it’s bringing three classic games from the Kirby series to the eShop tomorrow.
In a post on Twitter, Nintendo of America shared the plans to make the games available on Wii U. The release of the games on the eShop is part of Nintendo’s celebration of the first release of a Kirby game in the West. Friday is the 23rd anniversary of Kirby’s Dream Land for Game Boy launching in North America.
Nintendo didn’t say which games will be coming, so we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out. Right now, however, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, and Kirby Squeak Squad are not available on the Wii U eShop in North America.
The most recent game in the Kirby series is Kirby and the Rainbow Curse which launched in February for the Wii U. GameSpot critic Alexa Ray Corriea reviewed the game and thought it wasn’t great. You can read our full review here.
