Video game retailer GameStop on Monday announced the first details for this year’s GameStop Expo, the company’s annual public event that coincides with its managers’ meeting. After last year’s event was held in California, this year’s GameStop Expo 2015 will take place in Las Vegas, on Wednesday, September 2.
That’s just days after another gaming event, PAX Prime, wraps up on August 31.

The GameStop Expo 2015 will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, featuring more than 250,000 square feet of demo booths and more. Confirmed attendees so far include industry heavyweights such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Warner Bros, and Take-Two.
GameStop also said virtual reality technology will be available to try at the GameStop Expo 2015. In addition, there will be panels with industry experts and “gaming legends,” as well as tournaments, celebrity appearances, and autograph sessions.
This is the GameStop Expo’s fourth year and second in Las Vegas. GameStop merchandising VP Bob Puzon said this year’s event will be “bigger, better, and the ultimate gaming event for our fans.”
Registration for the GameStop Expo 2015 is now open. You can buy a general admission pass for $40 or a $110 VIP pass that comes with perks like early access to the show floor, a lounge, and a swag bag.
