Rico Rodriguez may look and act like your typical beefcake action star, but he’s actually got a lot going on in his head. No, sorry, the term is actually going off, as this new CGI trailer demonstrates. The world bathed in flames, bridges exploding, statues of dictators crumbling – these are the images that play in Rico’s mind as he descends on a new dictatorship in need of toppling. It’s kind of like his pump-up playlist, but with less Foreigner and more foreign acts of war.
The trailer also reveals a more specific release window for the game: Holiday 2015. So you can expect to boot up your PC, PS4, and Xbox One and get to demolishing the Mediterranean island of Medici yourself before the year is out. For a better idea of what Just Cause 3 is all about until then (hint: blowing stuff up and falling with style) make sure to click on for a ton of illuminating screenshots.
