[UPDATE] Via GameStop, we now have a closer look at the Skull Kid figurine featured in the Majora’s Mask 3D bundle.

The original story is below.

Nintendo on Tuesday announced a limited-edition bundle for upcoming 3DS game The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. The $50 collector’s edition bundle will launch later this year featuring the game and a special Skull Kid figurine, packed inside the spooky-looking box you see at left.

The Majora’s Mask 3D limited-edition bundle will be available alongside the standard $40 game later this year, though Nintendo has not yet announced a specific release date.

In addition, you’ll have to make do with the image at left, as Nintendo did not share any other pictures of the Skull Kid figurine.

This is not the first time Nintendo has remastered a Zelda game for the 3DS, as in 2011, Nintendo launched The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D to much critical acclaim.

Majora’s Mask was originally released for Nintendo 64 in 2000. The 3D version is a “reimagined” edition of the game, featuring new graphics and features.
