The Indian manufacturer Notion Ink finally announced its upcoming tablet, and it’s coming with a bit of a surprise included: a side-display featuring ticker-like content.
The tablet, which will come in both WiFi and 3G variants, has a 10.1-inch IPS (1280 x 800 pixels) display, a dual-core Cortex A9 SoC at 1.5GHZ. The GPU is a quad-core Mali 400, and the device has 1GB of RAM, a 3.15MP rear shooter as well as a front camera. There’s also 8GB of storage built in, as well as a 6,000mAh battery. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 as well.
The device is only available in India as of now— there isn’t any word on whether it will hit the international market, but it’s going for RS16,500 ($265) for the WiFi variant and RS19,000 ($305) for the 3G version.
