Huawei’s Ascend P6S isn’t their only device that has leaked. Today, the Ascend Mate 2 has posed for some photos and we have information on the specifications for the handset. This phablet’s screen comes in at 6.1-inches. But we now know that it will be a 1080p IPS display. The Mate 2 will have a 1.6Ghz quad-core Cortex-A9 processor with 2GB of RAM and Mali-450 GPU. Like the Ascend P6S, this handset will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s Emotion UI, but a software update could allow it to ship with Android 4.4 KitKat at launch. Right now we see 16GB variant as the only storage option. With both the Ascend P6S and Mate 2 seeing massive leaks as of late, we can expect to see them both formally unveiled fairly soon.
