The Android 4.4 over the air update for Nexus 4 owners has just started rolling out, but it will be at least a couple days before the update is installed on all Nexus 4 devices. Last week Nexus 4 factory images were released, so it comes as no surprise that developers over at XDA have now posted links to the OTA update.
In order to install the update you will still need to use ADB sideload in recovery. Doing that however is a lot easier than installing the update through the factory image. If you are willing to go this route rather than just waiting for the update to reach your phone, it is recommended that you have a little technical knowledge and kind of know what you’re doing! There could be problems if this isn’t the case!
