Splash Damage’s free-to-play multiplayer PC shooter will be published by Nexon America.
Upcoming free-to-play game Dirty Bomb–from Brink developer Splash Damage–has been renamed Extraction, it was announced today.
Nexon America will publish the free-to-play multiplayer PC shooter, which will be available in North America and Europe, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Splash Damage is also currently working on the multiplayer component for Batman: Arkham Origins.
In Extraction, players can choose from dozens of roles with different play styles and abilities, and fight in teams to vanquish enemies by defending or attacking key objectives.
The game is set in an evacuated London, following a “mysterious radiological attack,” as squads of mercenaries take to the streets to extract valuable information left behind.
Extraction promises a “fair and balanced” playing field achieved through an analytics and telemetry system called ECHO. This was not detailed.
The game will be on display at PAX Prime in Seattle this weekend.
