This summer, THQ is releasing it’s sequel and they just announced something hack-and-slash fans will be pumped about! Available now, you can pre-order the limited or collector’s edition for the platform of your choice.
Darksiders II’s limited edition comes with the standard retail game, along with extra downloadable content, “Argul’s Tomb”, at no additional cost (downloadable when it becomes available).
The collector’s edition comes with quite a few more toys though: the limited edition version of the game, a life-sized replica Death Mask with stand, an art book that reflects on different stages of the development of the game, a digital download for the game’s soundtrack, plus a unique Shadow of Death armor and scythe set with enhanced stats.
Take your pick from any of the following retailers for the collector’s edition for console (US and Canada): Gamestop, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Walmart.com, EB Games, the THQ.com store and other select retailers. The PC version of the Collector’s Edition will be available exclusively from the THQ.com store. European release and THQ.com store details to follow.
The game is due out on June 26th, 2012, for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 & PC.
