Fans of the Growlanser series can now rejoice! Earlier today ATLUS announced that it would be bringing the 4th installment of the series to the PSP later this year. The game, titled Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time, will be enhanced and remastered from its Playstation 2 counterpart. It will be available on July 24, 2012 in both physical form and as a digital download.
The game includes over 40 hours of narrative and over 40 different endings! Some of the improvements that fans have to look forward to are new characters, scenarios; faster loading times and the option to skip over events in an effort to advance the story at a faster pace.
ATLUS has also stated that although the many Anime cut scenes in the game would be fully voiced, the rest of the game would not. This is mostly due to the fact that the games script is already enormous and the additions included in this version would prohibit a new English voice track. Also, due to licensing restrictions there would be no Japanese voice track.
