Good news for Mortal Kombat fans who plan on purchasing a Playstation Vita. Earlier today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that the iconic franchise would be hitting the Playstation Vita sometime in the spring of 2012. It was also announced that the game will once again be developed by NetherRealm Studios.
This upcoming title will be developed exclusively for the Vita and will not only go back to its 2D fighting game roots but, will also include a number of new gameplay modes. Amongst these are Tag Team, Challenge Tower, and a deep story mode. There are also several new features that have been developed exclusively for the Playstation Vita, and will be announced in the upcoming months.
