On January 16, 2012 Deep Silver announced the details for the upcoming Dead Island DLC titled, “Ryder White”.
This single player campaign is an interesting twist because, you will play as the antagonist from the main game. The campaign will last several hours, and will follow White in the events that lead up to main story. It will portray him more as a military man and loving husband, in the hopes that you will see his motivations and why, in his eyes, he did what he had to do. If that wasn’t enough, the DLC will also introduce two new blue prints and weapons.
The DLC will become available on February 01, 2012. It will be available on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, and will sell for 800 MS points or $10.
