One of the true arcade classics of the 90′s is back. NFL Blitz was a huge arcade mainstay back in the day. It was NBA Jam for NFL fans.
NFL Blitz lost their NFL license several years ago — so this is the first version of NFL Blitz in quite some time.
NFL Blitz 2012 looks to be very true to the arcade original, with some updated features and of course with updated lineups.
Unfortunately you can no longer hit players after the play is over. The NFL disallowed that. But the rest of the over-the-top action seems to be in place.
It is available for the XBox 360 and Playstation 3 via download.
